Product Description
Designed to handle the demands of extreme-lift camshafts operating at prolonged, high-rpm use at championship-level racing, Skunk2’s Pro Series Valve Springs for Honda’s B-series VTEC engines are simply the best. Pro Series Valve Springs have been tested at speeds as high as 11,000 rpm on both the engine dyno and the street and our superior, Japanese-milled, super-clean chrome silicone wire is 100-percent eddy-current inspected prior to coiling and then heat-treated, shot-peened, and chemically polished for strength and durability. A special nitriding process concludes Skunk2’s rigorous manufacturing process. The end result is a lightweight valve spring that safely accommodates high-lift camshafts and features superior resistance to load loss, even under extreme operating ... “ Big Cams, High Revs, BRING IT ON! ” review by Eric Emerson on 2/2/12As a Skunk2 Street team member that competitively races in numerous TA Series, I rely on Skunk2 Pro Series Valve springs to survive endless pounding at 9000+ RPM. We have run these with everything from Tuner1 Cams up to Pro 3's without ever having an issue with valve float even with sustained high RPM abuse. Your engine is expensive, go with the best and only do it once, use skunk2 pro series valve springs, and never worry again.

“ High rpm use and Aggressive cams=No problem ” review by Karl B on 1/20/12As said in my review of the Pro 2 cam shafts review,The Pro Series Valve Springs combined with the Pro Series Cams equals no worries.Taking it up to higher rpms is not a problem with these springs.Every pass down the track the Pro Series valve springs were the least of my worries. If your tired of worrying if your valve train can handle your cams, stop worrying and make the switch to the Skunk 2 pro series valve train.
