Product Description

A properly designed exhaust system is critical to engine performance. Skunk2’s 70mm MegaPower Exhaust system for the '07-'11 Civic Si sedan was developed with this in mind and is based off of more than 15 years’ worth of racing experience. Dyno-proven for maximum horsepower, MegaPower R cat-back systems are constructed of T-403 stainless steel tubing and T-304 stainless steel mufflers, are robotically TIG welded, and feature CNC mandrel bends for a precise fit.

Designed for naturally aspirated engines featuring higher compression, aggressive camshafts, and racing headers as well as for mild turbocharged applications that require more exhaust flow than Skunk2’s 60mm MegaPower Exhausts provide, MegaPower R Exhausts allow engines to breathe more efficiently and produce ... MegaPower R Exhaust systems were designed for maximum flow and power, featuring oversized tubing and mufflers, which results in a significantly louder tone when compared to 60mm MegaPower systems.

Featuring Japanese-spec, Super N1 styling, MegaPower R Exhaust systems generate more horsepower by optimizing engine airflow and volume through carefully selected, application-specific tubing lengths and diameters and increased wave scavenging effects for more horsepower. CNC mandrel bending allows for a constant tubing diameter throughout the bend, which results in precise fitment as well as improved exhaust gas flow. Each system is fitted with a resonator, includes stainless steel flanges, and is finished off with a straight-through, low-restriction racing muffler for uninterrupted flow. Each fully polished muffler is mated to a 110mm polished tip with its own acid-etched MegaPower badge and serialized nameplate. A Skunk2 removable silencer and all necessary hardware are also included.

1)My exhaust is too long/short. What do I do?
Depending on vehicle and engine configuration, in some instances, MegaPower Headers and MegaPower Exhaust systems simply bolt together. Often times, due to the particular vehicle, engine type, and header and/or catalytic converter lengths, the exhaust piping does not terminate at the catalytic convertor or header. In such cases, cut and extend/shorten the exhaust piping to reach the desired location. Most muffler repair shops offer this service for reasonable fees.

    Coming from a person who is pretty picky from exhausts, I didn't look for power, but the sound of the car. Any NA engine will never be quiet so minus well open up its wonderful note that it plays. Sure it isn't quiet and for those who want quiet, this isn't for you. Its a completely different product that distinguishes itself from other competitors and I had this exhaust for 3 years and still going strong like brand new. The quality is there and it screams with an unbelievable echo around the track. Why buy an exhaust if it isn't different from stock? Sure a catback will add power, but time after time skunk2 proves itself. these exhausts are really aggressive and produce the racing quality exhaust. its certainly also lighter than the factory catback. I Stand behind Skunk2 and well done for such a value for money part. This exhaust can be daily driven and I daily drive my car. You wont regret buying this exhaust. Those who bought one, never went back. Videos wont do it justice. Now Its your turn to see and feel the difference.

    First performance part that came up to mind once I bought my brand new 09 Si was an exhaust, and without a doubt Skunk2 was the only name brand to go look at. After confirming this with numerous Si buddies and youtube vids, I purchasesd this exhaust and MY GOD was it music to my ears; still is to this day( 3 years later). I believe i wasted a good 10 gallons of gas that day due to vtec being activated all the time. This exhaust has and will always get heads to turn at me on every street. Even my "domestic fanatic" friends tell me my car sounds like beast. I even noticed performance wise it pulls harder and I was able to chirp 3rd gear the day I installed the exhaust. Skunk2 got both thumps up from me on this exhaust. Thank you sooo much skunk2 for turning my lil civic into a loud BEAST!!
